You are welcomed by the State Educational Institution "Higher Vocational School of Gushchyntsy"
The Gushchynetske VPU preschool educational institution can rightfully be called one of the oldest educational institutions in Ukraine. According to archival data: 1876 - the MNP - MNO public school was opened.
The first two-grade school in Gushchyntsi, Kalynivska volost, was founded in 1985. The school was maintained with funds from the Ministry of Public Education and donations from the community and Princess L.I. Abomelik.
In 1928, the estate of Princess Abomelik housed a forestry school, which operated on the basis of the forestry enterprise and trained personnel for forestry.
But the real history of the Gushchyntsy School, as a forge of personnel for agriculture, begins in 1934. On the basis of the forestry school, a motor transport training plant (GUTAK) was established.
In 1945, the School of Agricultural Mechanization was renamed the FZO School № 5. The FZO School trained locksmiths and carpenters for industrial enterprises.
In 1949, the FZO school was transformed into School № 7, where auto mechanics, turners, and blacksmiths studied.
On the basis of the former craft school № 7, in September 1951, a school of agricultural mechanization was organized, which trained personnel for collective farms and state farms.
Since 1954, the mechanization school was renamed the Gushchynetskа Mechanization School № 2, which trained mechanization operators for agriculture and drivers.
In 1963, a new and different history of our school began, which left a big mark. A lot was built and changed on the school's territory.
In 1974, secondary education was introduced.
In 1978, the School was awarded the title of Lenin Komsomol by the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR for outstanding achievements in training personnel for agriculture.
In 1984, the school was renamed again from SPTU № 2 to SPTU № 32.
Since 1986, agricultural specialists have been trained for Mongolia, and preparatory courses have been opened for students from Laos and Algeria to study at technical schools.
In 1993, based on the results of certification, the school was one of the few in Ukraine to receive the status of a higher professional school.
In 2001, an agreement on international cooperation between Ukraine and France was concluded with the Agrarian Lycée de Chenois-les-Barre (Montargis).
In 2008, the first educational and production complex “Schedra Niva” was created in the school. The purpose is training and retraining of specialists of agricultural enterprises on new modern equipment of foreign production.
In 2010, the school was renamed again to the State Educational Institution "Higher Vocational School of Gushchyntsy".
In 2016, the school signed an agreement on international cooperation with the Higher School of Agribusiness in Lomza (Poland).
During February-November 2024, the school implemented the project "Learning for Change: Short-term Professional Training Courses for Adults" within the "Vocational Education in Ukraine / Skills4Recovery" program.
From September 16, 2024, the preschool educational institution implements courses for female tractor drivers within the UNDP and Japan project "Transformational Recovery for Human Security in Ukraine".
During 2024–2025, the school participated in the "100 Workshops" project and created a training and practical center for "Fixer for the repair of agricultural machinery and equipment".
Today, the school is actively working to strengthen the material and technical base, enhance educational activities, and participate in international projects like EU4Skills.
